OUKITEL Unveils EP2500 Balcony Energy Storage System at Intersolar Europe 2026

On 23 June 2026, at Intersolar Europe 2026 — the global solar industry’s flagship exhibition held in Munich, Germany — OUKITEL officially unveiled its first all-in-one balcony energy storage system, the EP2500.

Germany stands as one of the core European markets for mobile energy storage and balcony photovoltaic systems, supported by a mature user base, a clearly defined regulatory framework (including the 800 W simplified grid-registration policy), and some of the highest household electricity prices in Europe.

The EP2500’s selection of Germany as its global launch stage not only highlights its importance within the OUKITEL Power product portfolio, but also reflects that every specification and certification has been precisely aligned with real-world European use scenarios and regulatory requirements.

EP2500 High-Performance System Architecture and High-Standard Quality Service Attract Strong On-Site Attention

From the moment it was unveiled, the EP2500 attracted significant attention from professional visitors and industry experts at the exhibition. This level of attention was far from accidental.

Hardware Architecture

The EP2500 adopts a highly integrated all-in-one design, combining a microinverter, a LiFePO₄ battery pack, a BMS battery management system, and four independent MPPT solar charge controllers within a single unit.

The base capacity is 2,048 Wh, expandable with up to seven battery units, reaching a total capacity of 16,384 Wh. The system supports up to 4,000 W of PV input, with four independent MPPT channels capable of optimising different orientations or partially shaded PV strings. PV conversion efficiency reaches up to 98%.

On the output side, the system is compatible with Germany’s 800 W simplified grid-registration standard, while in off-grid mode it delivers up to 2,500 W of emergency backup power, with a switching time of less than 10 milliseconds.

Software and Intelligent Control

The EP2500 connects to the OUKITEL App via Bluetooth and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, enabling real-time energy monitoring, time-of-use tariff optimisation, and Smart Meter zero-feed-in control.

Quality and Service

With an IP65 protection rating, the EP2500 is designed for long-term outdoor deployment on balconies and similar environments. Its LiFePO₄ battery cells support over 6,000 charge cycles. OUKITEL provides a full 10-year system warranty, a premium standard within the current balcony energy storage market, directly reflecting the brand’s confidence in long-term product reliability.

EP2500 Demonstrates a Strong System-Level Competitive Advantage Against Comparable Balcony Storage Systems

At Intersolar Europe 2026, the EP2500’s technical specifications and warranty policy demonstrated clear competitiveness against comparable systems in the category.

From a core specification perspective, its 4,000 W PV input capability and four independent MPPT channels place it among the leading configurations in the balcony energy storage segment. The expandable capacity of up to 16,384 Wh is sufficient to cover a wide range of use cases, from single-occupancy apartments to larger family households. A PV conversion efficiency of up to 98% and inverter efficiency of 95% ensure high overall system efficiency from generation through to consumption.

From a warranty and service perspective, a 10-year full system warranty remains rare in this category.

Together, these features establish a comprehensive competitive position for the EP2500 across battery capacity, PV input capability, charging efficiency, system scalability, smart control openness, and after-sales support.

EP2500 Marks the Completion of OUKITEL’s Home Energy Storage Product Portfolio

The launch of the EP2500 represents a major milestone in OUKITEL’s energy strategy.

Prior to this launch, OUKITEL had already built a complete product portfolio across portable power stations, home backup systems, and solar generator kits. The introduction of the EP2500 formally extends OUKITEL into the balcony and fixed residential energy storage segment, completing the final piece of its home energy storage product line.

As a result, OUKITEL is now among the few brands capable of covering all three major residential energy scenarios — portable power, home backup, and balcony storage — under a single integrated ecosystem.

This achievement is underpinned by OUKITEL’s long-term commitment to in-house manufacturing. From battery cell selection and BMS development through to final assembly, its full-chain production capability enables faster iteration cycles, stricter quality control, and more flexible responses to market demands.

With the arrival of the EP2500, OUKITEL has firmly entered all core residential energy storage categories and continues to advance its position through the advantages of independent manufacturing.
