I bought p5000e pro 3 years ago, I have been using intensively in my RV for 2 years . I keep AC inverter 24/7 for months straight hooked up with 2 X 460 W solar house grade panels and gas generator when need it, I never let battery go below 20%
Worth to note that air temperature of RV is kept 24/7 umder 26 C by AirCond. Which surely helps keep all electronics cooled. I do use slow charge most of the time if using gas generator. P5000 is very quiet on discharge, fans have few speed modes when charging. My AC inverter keeps ON all the time and only once it went off on its own and other time hall system went in error cause I had ac charging hooked up thrue timer device with somewhat poor connection, just did wait few minutes and started it again. I figure that AC inverter might go off as factory config for economy if in X amount of time there is no power draw.
One thing that was kind of overlooked is solar power ON and OFF internal switch which you can hear actuate it goes on and off several times every morning and evening when there is enought light from the Sun to turn ON but not enought power coming thrue panels, something below 10/5 W guess over time this switch might degradade faster than other components, no idea.
Over all I'm super happy with my choice, the performance is outstanding, very reliable. I wish it had car charger integrated so as expansion port.
